Leased Lines vs Fibre

We all want super fast internet that doesn’t interfere with our working lives. There’s nothing worse than a file which takes an age to send, or your video call freezing on an unflattering image – ugh!

So, what’s the fastest internet option?

Dedicated internet to your business via a leased line means that your internet is uncontended (not shared) and therefore a lot faster. You have your own bandwidth, with guaranteed speeds and unlimited usage.

With a leased line, you also have symmetrical download and upload speeds, with fibre broadband the upload speed is often much slower. If you’re a medium to large organisation, that needs super fast internet speeds consistently, we suggest you invest in a leased line.

If you’re a small business…
Usually a fibre broadband connection will suffice. You can still get good speeds and bandwidth with fibre broadband, but if you feel like it’s lagging and holding your team back, it may be time to upgrade to a leased line.

The figures

  • Leased Lines offer download speeds up to 10Gbps

  • Full Fibre broadband solutions can offer download speeds of up to 300Mbps
